Mayarasa Foundation is working on Education, Hunger, Elderly People and on Environment. Our mission is to keep up with other charitable organizations that work for the general welfare of physically disabled people, elderly people, orphans, widows, street children, and abandoned children. We take the necessary steps to get justice so that the voice and concern for the welfare of the disadvantaged children are heard. We give people a place to do such things and direct their energies in that direction. Mayarasa Foundation committed to providing basic education and healthcare to underprivileged children. We believe that the corridors of education are the best place to begin addressing issues such as healthcare, poverty, population control, unemployment, or human rights. Education is both the means as well as the end to a better life; means, because it empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood and the end because it increases one’s awareness on a range of issues – from healthcare to social behaviour to understanding one’s rights, and in the process evolve as a better citizen.
To help the street children by providing them education, food, and shelter. To promote the tribal and minorities welfare. To rehabilitate destitute women like young and old widows, unmarried mothers, victims of abduction, and their dependent children through residential care and vocational training. Providing livelihood and upliftment of the poor. To render help and assistance in cash or in kind to poor and destitute people. To start, establish, run, and manage schools, secondary and senior secondary education for children with affiliation from the education department and concerned government authentication.
To start various kinds of training courses like teacher training, nurses training, lab assistance, education centers cum clinics, maternity homes, child care centers, and such other institutions. To provide professional, creative, and technical education to the people and promote the progress of the underprivileged by giving facilities and opportunities for their welfare and upliftment. To help discarded persons like handicapped individuals, widows, orphans, and depressed persons by providing training in different skills such as toy making, art and craft, flower making, and clay molding.
To engage in the best efforts for promoting, helping, and assisting in technical education, cultural activities, labor welfare, child welfare, adult education, sanitation, and health development. To raise funds by accepting donations, grants, and aid for poor people’s funeral expenses and maintenance. To solve different health problems with the help of health check-up camps and blood donation camps. To provide information, education, useful knowledge, and medical advice to the general public on issues such as drug addiction, smoking, alcohol consumption, HIV/AIDS, polio drops, chickenpox, and other health concerns by holding awareness camps and organizing lectures by expert teams of doctors, journalists, and legal professionals.
To open, establish, promote, set up, run, maintain, assist, finance, support, construct, and develop pilgrim shelters (pio), dharamshalas, night shelters, old age homes, orphanages, healthcare centers, crèches, music and dance training centers (sangeetalya and nrityalaya), and balwaris for the welfare of the general public. To take effective yet reasonable steps for the eradication of social evils such as the dowry system, child marriage (bal vivah), and child labor. To take up effective, reasonable, and lawful steps for addressing problems faced by the blind, handicapped, deaf, dumb, and other disabled individuals by providing training programs and necessary facilities to help them become independent.
To give, provide, and render monetary assistance and relief to persons and animals affected by natural and other calamities such as road accidents, fires, famine, cyclones, earthquakes, storms, pestilence, epidemics, unbearable costs of living, and similar situations by offering donations and distribution of aid.
